Tough day in Columbus. This was his first time in the Junior Honda class and lead to some changes to the car and driver having to adjust to the faster speeds A total of 306 cars signed in the racing action. Bradley never got to make a lap in his heat race having the chain come off his machine and getting wedged in between the engine and sprocket ending his chances of running any laps. This bad luck sent him to the H-main starting seventh, after a gear change to get some more speed he fell one spot short from transferring to the G-main finishing sixth.
